Deppri is a retro inspired indie platformer created as part of my Final Extended Project (FEP). Inspired by games such as FEZ, Yoshi’s Island, and other experimental retro titles, the project combines colorful pixel art visuals with exploration focused gameplay and a nostalgic atmosphere.

Play as Deppri, a small wandering character exploring strange environments, peaceful landscapes, and mysterious locations filled with personality. The game focuses on movement, atmosphere, and visual storytelling while blending modern indie aesthetics with inspiration from classic Sega Saturn era presentation and retro platformers.

This project documents the full development process of the game, including research, planning, sprite creation, animation, programming, and playtesting throughout the FEP production pipeline.
